North East Victoria's high country is special. The rivers run cold and clear off the ranges, the Murray Cod grow big and mean in the deep holes, and the trout sit in water clean enough to drink. It's wild, it's beautiful, and it fishes as good as anywhere in the country.
What we do is simple: we take people out and put them on fish. You bring yourself, we'll sort the rest. The gear, the spots, the know-how. Whether it's your first time holding a rod or you've been chasing fish your whole life, you'll have a day on the water you won't forget.

Jake's been chasing fish for many years. He found the high country later in life, fell hard for the Ovens and the Buffalo, and made it home. Years on, he's learned these rivers season by season and turned a lifelong obsession into a guiding business.
You'll find him on the water more often than not, chasing big Murray Cod through the warmer months and switching to trout when the rivers cool off. He knows the seasons, the snags, and the moods of these rivers better than just about anyone.
Easy-going and patient, Jake's just as happy putting a first-timer onto their first fish as he is helping a seasoned angler crack a personal best. No ego, no rush, just a genuine love of the sport and the country it happens in.
